5A Molecular sieve


5A molecular sieve can adsorb any molecule smaller than its pore size, and is generally called calcium molecular  sieve. In addition to the functions of 3A and 4A molecular sieves, it can also adsorb C3-C4 normal alkanes, ethyl  chloride, ethyl bromide, butanol, etc., and can be used for N-isomeric hydrocarbon separation pressure swing adsorption separation, and co-adsorption of water and carbon dioxide. Based on the industrial  application characteristics of 5A molecular sieve, the 5A molecular sieve we produce has high selective  adsorption, fast adsorption speed, and is particularly suitable for pressure swing adsorption. It can adapt to various volumes of oxygen generation, hydrogen generation , carbon dioxide generation and other gas pressure  swing adsorption.

 

Chemical formula : 3/4CaO·1/4Na2O·Al2O3·2SiO2·9/2H2O

Silicon-aluminum ratio : SiO2/Al2O3≈2

Effective pore size : about 5A (0.5 nm)

 

Application Of zeolite molecular sieve

Application : It mainly used for separation of N-isomeric hydrocarbon separation , separation of oxygen and nitrogen, drying and refining of chemical, petroleum and natural gas, ammonia decomposition gas and other industrial gases and liquids.

1. Deep drying of gases and liquids such as air, natural gas, alkanes, refrigerants, etc.

2. Preparation and purification of argon.

3. Static drying of pharmaceutical packaging, electronic components and perishable substances.

4. As a dehydrating agent in paints, fuels and coatings.

4. Regeneration :

1. It can be regenerated and reused by purging or vacuuming at a higher temperature. Dehydration : depends on the temperature, pressure and water content of the regenerated gas. (Normally, at a pressure of 0.3- 0.5Kg/cm2, dry gas of 200~350℃ passes through the molecular sieve bed for 3~4 hours, the outlet temperature reaches 110~180℃ and then cools.)

2. Removal of organic matter : replace organic matter with water vapor, and then remove moisture.

Storage:

Room temperature ; relative humidity is not more than 90%; it is not suitable to be directly exposed to the air; Be stored away from water, acid and alkali.

Packaging : 25Kg kraft bag 30Kg (cardboard barrel) sealed steel drum 150Kg (55 gallons) sealed steel drum 750Kg ton bag Note: Molecular sieves should be prevented from absorbing water, organic gas or liquid before use, otherwise they should be regenerated.
